Breckenridge Colorado Ice Sculptures. Taking place monday january 20th through wednesday january 29th 2020 is the 30th annual breckenridge international snow sculpture championships which has become one of colorado s most highly anticipated winter events. Dozens of sculptures carved out of 12 foot blocks of snow are put on display for one week.
The breckenridge tourism office extends a deep heartfelt thanks to community partners that were assisting in. The ice sculptures will remain around the town for the next two weeks so those who missed the competition can still visit breckenridge for the day and admire the completed work. To comply with regularly evolving state and county public health orders the breckenridge tourism office in agreeance with the breckenridge event committee has postponed ullr fest and the international snow sculpture invitational to december 2021 and january 2022 respectively.
