Colorado Rn License Compact States. Current nlc states and status new jersey is allowing nurses who hold active unencumbered multi state licenses issued by nurse licensure compact member states to practice in new jersey under their multi state licenses. Those who do not meet the new licensure requirements may still be eligible for a single state license.
So far only two states have the necessary legislation in place. On january 18 2018 governor john hickenlooper signed senate bill 18 027 enhanced nurse licensure compact. Nlc license application information is available here.
The ncsbn approved a compact for advanced practice registered nurses in 2015 but it will only be implemented once legislation has been passed in 10 states.
